Cashing in on new Elizabethan saga, Britain’s tourism industry is promoting historic locations featured in ‘Elizabeth: The Golden Age’.
Location vacations have proved to be a major tourist draw with visitors flocking to see where the Harry Potter movies and “The Da Vinci Code” were made. Britain has set up film tourism offices in Los Angeles and Mumbai.

I had a great time looking for Lost filming locations on Oahu. They haven’t really exploited Lost filming or “set-jetting” for Lost. I wonder if it is because they are still filming the show for a couple more years.
It was funny to me how much more interesting a cow pasture seemed on Kualoa Ranch when I knew that that was where Hurley had his golf course on Lost.
Are you a Lostie, Debo Hobo?
Oh I am a “Lostie” big time. When I was in Oahu we took a helo-tour and they video tape the flight, well you can hear me asking the pilot where is the Lost site.
He pointed off in the distance but we didn’t fly over it.
Have I told you how much I really like your new template. Much better than the last one. I ran across the perfect template for you but I lost it!!
If I find it again while browsing my 1 terabyte worth of files, I will forward it to you!
Thanks Jon, I’m glad you like to new template, sorry to say I will probably more than likely switch to a brighter one in the spring. So if you find tht template please send it I very well may be interested.
The Lord of the Rings definitely helped put New Zealand on the world map. It was largely undiscovered before this. The TripAdvisor.com 2008 traveler’s choice destination awards included Milford Sound and Queenstown (No. 1 & 2) in New Zealand - in its list of the top 100 destinations in the world, which also gave New Zealand a great deal of exposure.
Thanks for that tidbit of info Kiwi Accomodations. I guess you would know
