New Orleans:
The Carnival celebration in New Orleans is one of the world’s most famous. For two weeks the city is abuzz with parades, masquerade balls, feasts and music. The final day, Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday), is when the most extravagant parades and parties take place. Carnival “krewes” spend months assembling their floats for the outrageous spectacle.

I would love to make it to New Orleans during Carnival one of these years.
Wendy-I wish I had made it there prior to Katrina. Some of the old historic places were ruined or are not there anymore. But they say NOLA has bounced back and is a thriving tourist spot.
If I had the money, I would love to visit New Orleans. It sounds like fun, and I’m sure they could use the tourist dollars these days
i think making it to new orleans for this carnival wouldnt be a bad idea at all. i think i will giv it a shot.
