It is possible to make reasonable money in the travel industry through selling text links on blogs. Typically a travel blog with good content and a PR3 or PR4 can earn between $10 and $30 per month per link. Assuming 10 links and 5 blogs to maintain that comes in at around $500 to $1500 per month. Not too bad at all. The hard bit is getting the blogs to a good Google PageRank.
